Our range of concentric cast iron butterfly valves contain both wafer and lug types that can be used between flanges PN10/16, ANSI 150 up to DN600, and JIS 10K up to DN300.
The body of our butterfly valves is made from epoxy-coated GG25 cast iron (GGG40 above DN600), and our soft seats and seals are made with vulcanized EPDM or vulcanized NBR. The vulcanization of the seat increases mechanical strength, which helps avoid creeping and wrenching. EPDM can withstand temperatures from 10 °C up to + 110°C (with a transient peak at + 130°C), whereas our vulcanized NBR seats can withstand + 80°C. Our valves can tolerate pressures of 16 bar up to DN300, and 10 bar above. Our valves are fitted with nickel-plated ductile iron or stainless steel discs that are held in place thanks to shank grooves, which help avoid mechanical slack during use. The one-piece axis is kept airtight by two levels of PTFE and NBR seals. The ISO 5211 mounting pad allows easy mounting of pneumatic or electric actuators, or manual gearboxes. These valves can be used with a wide variety of fluids, including hot and cold water, demineralized water, alcohol, lime milk, mercury, alkaline solutions, sodium hydroxide They are also suitable for gas such as air, nitrogen, etc.
