#1 How to change the closure direction of a spring return actuator
- Shut-off the compressed air supply
- Remove crosswise the 4 stud bolts
- Remove the position indicator
- Unscrew the adjustable stops
- Pull the pistons out of the housing and rotate them 180°
- Position the pistons equidistant from the axis, then push them towards the bottom simultaneous and uniformly
- Check the aligment of the axis
- Replace the springs, making sure that the pistons are at the bottom of the stop
- Adjust the adjustable stops to ensure a 90° opening angle
- Reassemble the indicator according to the required position
