Cast iron and ductile iron ball valves
What is a cast iron ball valve made of?
This type of valve has a GG25 cast iron body, a stainless-steel ball and a PTFE seat, and its size goes from DN15 to DN200. It is also fitted with a lever, an Iso mounting pad (for actuators), RF PN16 flanged connections, and an anti-blowout stem.
The cast iron valve: specific features
The cast iron valve is a full-bore split body valve with high corrosion resistance. It is also important to know that this valve operates at a pressure of 16 bar and at temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +200 °C.
Where is the cast iron ball valve used?
The cast iron ball valve is widely used with all common fluids and has a lot of various applications in a great number of industrial fields such as climate engineering, chemical and petrochemical industries, or hydraulic systems, to name only a few.
Syveco’s offer
Syveco’s offer is made up of two different cast iron ball valves from ICP’s range. They both come in multiple sizes, with length according to NF 29323 or DIN 3202-1 F4.
