Spring all positions
The spring check valve, spring-assisted check valve or spring-loaded check valve all positions is one of the devices used in plumbing to control backflows of fluids. « All positions » means that the valve may be mounted in any position, as long as the flow follows the arrow seen on the valve body. This type of check valve ensures a great metal/metal tightness at all times.
The spring check valve is especially used in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in compressed air installations and drinking water systems.
Syveco offers an ACS certified spring check valve. This device comes in four different models, with distinct connectors: BSP or NPT threads, or SW or BW connections. This is a three-piece spring valve: the body and disc are made of stainless steel, while the seat is in PTFE. With sizes ranging from ¼'' to 4'', this spring check valve all positions allows -20 °C to +200 °C in temperature, and a maximum pressure of 63 bar.
