Wafer spring disc check valve - all positions
Our reference 386 is a full stainless-steel wafer type disc check valve for general purpose, industrial & HVAC applications. It is highly corrosion resistant and therefore is widely employed in hydraulic installations, compressed air systems and commonly used in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries. This type of spring-loaded disc check valve is also extensively used in steam installations where it prevents the back-flow of discharged condensate into the system.
The 386 disc check valve offers a tight closure between the disc and its metal seat and allows opening at a small pressure deferential. The spring assistance permits the installation in either horizontal or vertical piping. It has a compact sandwich pattern which is space saving and lightweight and is designed to fit between flanges PN10/16/25/40 and ANSI 150.
This device is able to withstand pressure up to 40 bar (except with steam, limited to 14 bar) and allows a wide range of working temperature from -20°C to +200°C.
Our 386 non-return valve is available from stock in sizes comprised between DN 15 and DN 200.
